Two city jail inmates face drug charges

Two city jail inmates have been charged with drug-related offences. Police said today that they were called by correctional staff at the jail. Police seized 5.72 grams of marijuana and a debt list. A 19-year-old man is charged with trafficking, possession and breaching probation. A 23-year-old man is charged with possession.

Armed robber gets takeout at pizzeria A man armed with a gun robbed an Erie Avenue pizza place Monday afternoon, police say. The robbery occurred shortly after 1:30 p. m., when the man — simply described as white — entered Family Pizza at 207 Erie Ave. He confronted the lone employee and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured. Police are asking anyone with information to call Det. Don Pancoe at 519-756-0113, ext. 2271, or Crime Stoppers at 519-750-8477. It is the second armed robbery in two days at an Erie Avenue business. Police say they haven’t established a connection between the two incidents. An Erie Avenue convenience store was held up Sunday by a knife-wielding man who fled in a stolen vehicle. Planned city-county talks postponed A boundary adjustment meeting between city and county officials scheduled for Jan. 13 has been cancelled. The city recently advised the county of the cancellation, according to documents distributed at Tuesday’s meeting of county council. oh the cops were here the other day I believe because ; either the guy down the hall that got arrested i hear, or the girl that broke her arm i spoke about, related to the crack and the stolen bible thumpers phone, the silver one, that might be at the gay couples appartment ; maybe they wanted to know about the roberies, was not me, i don’t own a gun, they were at another appartment also making enquiries, what can i tell you, the girl is a crack ho, that used to live here, but just moved out, the guy down the hall ; i don’t realy know, they just moved in a bit ago, to my knowledge, why would i help you anyway ; you don’t help me ; after you yaped at me the other day cause i allegedly said some thing to the bible thumper, who had his phone stolen by the girl, that broke her arm, you sat talking to them for 10 minutes, or so joking in the parking lot that day before i steped out to ask you who you were looking for ; car 25 ; refer to previous post a few days back ; go play games some place else ; i’m on to yours ; i have good ears eh mr paycha ?
